Masai Mara also spelled as Maasai Mara and locally known as The Mara, is a large national game reserve located in Narok, Kenya, Contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The Reserve is named in Honor of the Maasai People, the ancestral inhabitants of the Area. The Greater Mara eco system ecosystem encompasses areas known as the Masai Mara National Reserve, The Mara Triangle and other conservancies which include; Koiyaki, Lemek, Ol Choro Oirouwa, Mara North, Olkinyei, Siana,Maji Mot,Naikara, Ol Derkesi, Kerinkani, Oloirien and Kimintet.
The reserve is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including species of Mammals, amphebians, and reptiles as well as over 400 bird species. Masai Mara is famous for The Big Five namely (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino & Buffalo) also its annual wildebeest Migration, which takes place between July and October.

Masai Mara Park Fees for 2026 ;
USD 100 per non resident adult per day from 1st January 2026 to 30th June 2026
USD 200 per non resident adult per day from 1st July 2026 onwards
CHILDREN FEES from 01st JAN 2026 to 31st DEC 2026: USD 50 per day per child ( 9 to 17 years of age inclusive at time of entry). Children upto 8 years of age at time of exit will be allowed FREE entry.
