Day 1

Transfer; Nairobi-Masai Mara

Your safari begins with a scenic drive from Nairobi to the Masai Mara National Reserve, passing through the Great Rift Valley with breathtaking escarpment views. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by your first afternoon game drive across the rolling savannahs. Keep your eyes open for the Big Five—lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino.

Day 2

Gamedrives

Set out for early morning and late afternoon game drives, the best times for wildlife activity. During the migration season (July–October), witness millions of wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River in one of the world’s most dramatic natural spectacles. Outside migration, the Mara still delivers incredible year-round game viewing with prides of lions, elusive leopards, cheetahs, and herds of elephants.

Day 3

Full Day Gamedrive

This entire day will be spent exploring the reserve. You will head out with packed lunch for a full day gamedrive. You will have lunch at a designated picnic site at the reserve before continuing with your gamedrive until evening where you will return to yourlofgr for dinner and ovenight stay.

Day 4

Transtion; Mara-Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This alkaline lake is world-famous for its flocks of flamingos that paint the shoreline pink. Beyond the birdlife, Nakuru is also one of the best places in Kenya to see both black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and tree-climbing lions. Enjoy an afternoon game drive around the lake and acacia woodlands. Dinner & Overnight in Lake Nakuru.

Day 5

Lake Nakuru-Olpejeta Conservancy

Depart after breakfast for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located on the Laikipia Plateau near Mount Kenya. This world-class conservancy is home to the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and the last two northern white rhinos. You’ll also visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya to see chimps. Afternoon game drives showcase Ol Pejeta’s rich wildlife, including lions, elephants, and rare Grevy’s zebras. Dinner & Overnight in Ol Pejeta.

Full Day Gamedrive


Spend the entire day exploring the conservancy with both morning and afternoon game drives. With its mix of savannah, woodland, and riverine habitats, Ol Pejeta offers exceptional sightings of predators, plains game, and birdlife. Olpejeta-Samburu NR

After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of Samburu’s “Special Five”: Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, gerenuk, and reticulated giraffe. Dinner & Overnight in Samburu.
