Amboseli Sopa Lodge

Amboseli Sopa lodge is nestled in the foothills of Mt.kilimanjaro, providind a rustic and panaromic view of the surounding landscape. The lodge is approximately 20 km from Amboseli national park Kimana gate and 250km by road from Nairobi. Flying from Nairobi to the lodge is about 40 minutes and an hour transfer time to the lodge from Amboseli airstrip. Amboseli national park is 20 km from the lodge.

Amboseli Sopa lodge has 83 guestrooms comprising of 71 double rooms, 9 single rooms, 1 presidential suite, 1 honeymoon suite, and also 2 rooms that physically challenged guests can access. Each room is tastefully fitted with air conditioning sofas, a work desk, a verandah, and en suite bathroom. The presidential suite has 2 bedrooms, a huge lounge area, a private dining room, an attached kitchenette, and a quite simply vast verandah.

The onsite restaurant serves a variety of local and international cuisine with an outdoor dining terrace. The restaurant is elegantly decorated with multicolored marble shards, suspends chandeliers and clay tiles with evenly spaced carved wooden panels the central fireplace is decorated with wood carvings. There are 3 bars which are divided into several sections and with different views of the surrounding landscape. The lodge has conference facilities that provide an ideal venue for corporate events. The lounge also features a sauna, gift shop, open air local craft market and swimming pool. The well-manicured lawn is ideal for weddings.
