Fig Tree Camp Masai Mara is a luxurious lodge in the prestigious Masai Mara National Reserve one of Africa’s most famous and abundant wildlife reserves. It is situated on the banks of the Talek River on the northern boarder of the national reserve and its central location makes all areas of the park accessible during game drives. The camp is 240km from Nairobi and can be accessed by both Road and Air. By road it is estimated to take 4.5 hours while flying from Wilson airport to Keekorok airstrip takes 45min followed by a short transfer.
The camp offers both luxurious tents and chalet which accumulate to 80 luxurious tents. The accommodation comprises of 38 safari tents overlooking the Talek River each with a double and single bed, 32 garden chalets with double and single beds, and 10 superior Ngamboli tents on the banks of the Talek river.
Facilities offered at the camp ensure guests are comfortable and have the best safari experience. There are two bars, the main dining area, an open -air dining area, and a tree hose coffee deck. Guests can relax in the swimming pool after a game drive. Also available is a video room, guest lecture facilities and a curio shop. In the camp there is a resident nurse and a medical clinic. A conference room is available for meetings, gatherings or corporate functions.
