Lenchad Tourist Camp is a budget semi luxury accommodation and eco-friendly safari tented camp in the North west of Masai Mara National Reserve. The camp is located on the Oloolamutai hills on the western boarder of Masai Mara. The camp can be accessed by road from Nairobi which takes approximately 250km taking 4h,45min. Scheduled flights take 45min from Nairobi Landing at Ol Kiombo or Keekorok airstrips and a transfer to the camp.
The camp combines Single, double, triple and family room accommodation that can accommodate 60pax. The tents are basic, clean and tastefully fitted with beds, linen and mosquito nets. The tents have an en suite bathroom with flush toilets, washing basins, and hot showers. The tents also have own veranda for sitting back and watching the bush.
There are a range of facilities in the camp including a bar and lounge area, a shop selling locally-made products, and a spacious dining area that serves different local & international meals. In the evening a bonfire is lit giving a great opportunity for guests to interact sharing their safari experience.
