Mahali Mzuri is a swahili word meaning “beautiful place”. Mahali Mzuri is a luxury safari camp created by Sir Richard Branson. The camp is located (240km/1 hour by flight) from the Wilson Airport to Olare Orok airstrip which is 25min away, Mahali Mzuri is in the private Olare Motorogi Conservancy in the Maasai Mara ecosystem. The camp is situated in a prime game-viewing area, and guests can enjoy watching wildlife from their tents, as it is in the path of the annual migration of wildebeest and zebras.
There are 12 luxury tents, each stylish and very comfortable. Ten of the tents are designed to accommodate two adults and the remaining two have fold out sofa beds in the sitting area accommodating up to two additional guests. The tents are fitted with a sitting area, Mini fridge, Work desk, Leather furniture for lounging, Grand clawfoot soaking tubs, and Expansive windows and doors that open up to a massive deck offering guests stunning landscape views of the wild Masai Mara.
The camp offers guests an environment where they can relax and take in the tranquility that surrounds them. Guests can enjoy the camps delicacies influenced by a variety of cultures/ flavors & spices that are locally sourced. It is here where guests can enjoy a relaxing swim in the infinity pool or admire the African plains with the telescope on the deck. The main tent also offers laptops, WiFi for guests who need to keep in touch with the outside world, a television is also available in the lounge area with satellite channels and also an impressive library for guests who would like just to sit back and pass time reading a good book.
While in the camp guests can explore the wonders and have fun which the Conservancy has to offer during their stay at the camp.
