Mara Duma Bush Camp is a charming eco-community camp located in the magnificent Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya, and it is situated right on the banks of the Talek River. The camp offers a truly immersive and authentic African safari experience, allowing guests to get an up close and personal with the wildlife and natural wonders. The camp can be reached either by road or by air. The distance from Nairobi To Masai Mara is 280km which takes 5-6 hours by road while flying time takes approximately 45min. The camp is situated 6km from Hippo Pool Viewpoint.
The camp consists of 5 luxury double tents which are very specious and tastefully designed all with en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and large comfortable tables. Each tent has a cloth rack, solar lighting, and a balcony offering views of a waterhole where you may witness an array of animals drinking water.
Mara Duma has a Canva dining tent with an assortment of delicious wine, meals are also often enjoyed al fresco beneath the pristine African skies and around the roaring fire. The restaurant serves local and international cuisine. The camp offers free wi-fi in the public areas. Also, the camp offers dry cleaning and laundry services to guests.
Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas with the annual wildebeest migration alone which involves millions of animals arriving in July and departing in November. Masai Mara offers excellent chance of seeing the big five, cheetah, several, hyena, bat-eared foxes, black-backed and side-striped jackals, hippo, crocodile, baboons, warthog, oribi, reed-buck and zebras.
