Mara Napa Luxury Camp & Conservation is a luxury resort just adjacent to the Masai Mara National Reserve along the Talek River. The camp is 2.6 miles (4.18km) from the small town of Talek, 250 km southwest of Nairobi. The camp can also be accessed by flight which takes 45min from Nairobi Wilson Airport to Olkiombo, a local Masai Mara airstrip followed by a 30min transfer to the camp.
The camp has 7 premier tents offering fully private accommodation in spacious hand-woven Makuti thatched suites (one-bedroom suite with one queen bed & one king size bed accommodating up to 4 people, and two-bedroom suite with 4 or 5 comfortable beds accommodating up to 8 people. Each suite is set in its own private compound, an equipped with mini-fridges, a private deck with lounge chairs, personal workout equipment’s & a yoga mat, a safe box, in room wi-fi, environmentally friendly soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, universal plugs (no adapters needed) and mosquito repellent devices and nets.
Inside the camp there is a Mara Napa Center which has a cultural museum, visitor & guide center, theater, computer lab, radio station, a community café. The center provides a gathering place for villagers, tourists and researchers to exchange ideas, gather knowledge or simply enjoy the wildlife. The camp offers tailored meals and purified water. The camp is environment friendly with no fence around and with 24hoour security. The camp offers a tour of authentic Manyatta, a Masai mud house, built on site by local Maasai women.
