Mara Olapa Camp Masai Mara, situated inside the Masai Mara National Reserve is conveniently nestled near Kaboso crossing, Double cross and the Marshes of Musiara. The unique location is highly conducive for sightseeing the resident leopards, pride of lions. The camp is unfenced giving the small plains game the freedom of movement within the camp. Masai Mara is 250 km away from Nairobi the capital city and can be reached by road taking approximately 4-5 hours or by air which takes less than an hour.
Mara Olapa consists of 6 luxurious en-suite safari tents tastefully decorated in African -themed décor, large comfortable beds with Egyptian cotton whites, a private verandah, and a fully functional bathroom with a safari-style shower and flushing toilet, storage chest, Vanity desk. All the tents are strategically constructed under tree shades providing stunning views and avoiding excessive heat build-up during the day. The layout of the camp provides a private feel from each tent.
There is also a family tent consisting of two en-suite rooms and a lounge available for families visiting the camp. Inside the camp there is also an authentic Maasai-style manyatta stay within the camp. The camp is guarded 24 hours due to it not been fenced, it is guarded by Maasai Moran’s who ensure that guests are safe throughout.
