Mara Sun Lodge is a luxury safari accommodation at the Masai Mara Game Reserve on the Oloololo escarpments on the South western edge of The Mara Triangle. The lodge is positioned high up on the escarpments offering views that stretch as far as Serengeti And Loita hills. Masai Mara is 250km from Nairobi taking around 5-6 hours’ drive while flying takes 45min, followed with a transfer to the camp which is 20km away.
There ae 32 deluxe rooms similar to the Maasai ‘manyatta’ (traditional Masai Home). All guest rooms are spacious decorated with antique and local art, with huge beds a full en-suite facility. The rooms are fitted with comfy table and chair for working or private study, A private balcony overlooking the Maasai Mara plains.
The lodge has a restaurant and a bar which is fully stocked offering spirit, beers, renowned cocktails, wine and offering scenic views of the Mara plains. Dinning can either be In house or at the cliff-hanging tree top restaurant. The lodge has 3 tastefully state of art conference halls holding 40 guests each.
