Mara Sweet Acacia Lodge Maasai Mara is a mid range accommodation in Masai Mara located along the bank of River Talek. River Talek is one of the tributaries of river Mara. The facility is approximately 10km from the Talek, Maasai Mara Gate, and 12km from Sekanani Sasai Mara Maina -gate. Administratively, the lodge is in Siana ward, Narok west sub-county in Narok County. From Nairobi to Masai Mara is approximately 250km it takes 5-6 hours by road while flying time takes about 45 minutes.
There are 32 guest rooms which are in different categories; 2 Family Rooms, 4 Deluxe Rooms (Double or Singles), 26 Superior Rooms (Double, Single, or Twins). All rooms have balconies with sitting areas, bio-flush toilets, hot-showers, and wooden floors. Superior rooms accommodate 2 guests in each and has 2 showers, one inside and the other in the open, with a wild view of spectacular Mara. The Deluxe rooms also have 2 showers, one internal land an open-air one. The indoor shower has a spacious bathtub, a waterfall shower and a bio-flush toilet. Family cottages have two sleeping areas each featuring a double or twin bed. There is a common sitting area, 2 showers, an indoor and outdoor open-air safari shower.
The lodge consists of a reception area, a Curio shop that sells hand crafts and traditional souvenirs, kitchen restaurant serving local and international cuisines, a fully stocked bar serving a variety of alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks, an outdoor swimming pool where guests can relax and unwind, accommodation with terrace and free Wi-fi. Services offered at the lodge include Bonfire, Multi- cuisine catering, laundry services, picnic breakfast/lunch, airstrip pickup, Maasai dance and business center.
