Located 500 meters from Ololaimutiek Masai Mara Game Reserve entrance gate is Miti Mingi Eco Camp, a budget safari camp set on the banks of Ololaimutiek River in Masai Mara. The camp is situated under a canopy of indigenous trees (Miti Mingi) - meaning many trees which create a cool retreat with leafy canopy attracting a large variety of bird species throughout.
How to get to Miti Mingi Eco Camp
From Nairobi to Masai Mara is approximated to be 280km, taking 5-6 hours’ drive by road with 4x4 safari vehicles being highly recommended due to the road conditions and different terrains. Masai Mara is also accessible by air from Wilson Airport, Nairobi taking approximately 45min soaring above Kenya’s landscape and landing in Keekorok Airstrip followed with a short en route transfer.
Miti Mingi Camp Accommodation
The camp has 30 permanent self-contained tents, organized rooms decorated in claiming safari tones, natural woods, wrought iron, and crisp cotton. Each tent can either be arranged in single beds, double beds, twin beds, triple beds and family tents.
