Olengoti Safari Camp & Eco Cottages

Olengoti Safari Camp & Eco cottages is based in the heart of the Masai Mara Reserve, one of the most unforgiving and wildest environments in the world, deep inside Kenya’s territory. The camp is set along the banks of the Talek river offering the most dramatic and exclusive natural show, The great wildebeest migration. Over 1.5 wild animals from Serengeti cross the banks of Mara River every year in the month of May and June Entering Masai Mara in search of greener pasture. The camp is estimated to be 250km from Nairobi which takes approximately 5-6 hours from Nairobi by road, while flying time takes 45 minutes from Wilson Airport.

There are 11 tents set under canvas and exquisitely decorated reflecting the old style of First Safari. The tents are fitted with Carpets, Handmade furniture crafted by local artisans. All tents are equipped with comfortable queen beds covered by soft mohair blankets, duvet & 100% percale & cotton sheets, en suite bathrooms with shower and private veranda having two leather sofas.

There is 6 spacious eco cottages with direct views of Talek river. The eco- cottages powered by solar energy, are formed by a large living area and bedroom, en suite bathroom, outdoor terrace allowing guests to enjoy the starry Kenyan nights. They are fitted wit leather armchairs, unique pieces made by local craftsman, cow hide rugs and palm baskets that take guests to a unique safari atmosphere.

The main living room is well furnished with leather chairs and sofas, floor strewn with cushions and campfire is candle lit, where guests can relax. Guests can enjoy a personalized dinner served as al fresco in open tented dining room next to the hippo pool.
