Porini Amboseli Camp is a luxurious tented safari camp offering a unique and intimate experience for wildlife enthusiasts, it is situated in the Selenkay Conservancy in Kenya. The camp is 230 km south of Nairobi and close to the Tanzanian border and Mount Kilimanjaro. Driving from Nairobi takes approximately 4 hours and 35 minutes by air. Porini Amboseli was one of the first eco-camps in Kenya and today is still one of the best camps In Amboseli national park. The camp is small with just 10 spacious guests tents and retains the charm and feel of the traditional mobile safari camps. Tents are tastefully furnished and have solar-powered electric lighting with en suite bathrooms including shower, washbasin, and flush toilets.
The safari camp provides an exclusively yet friendly experience with a maximum of 20 guests at a time and it is fully inclusive of all meals and drinks (wine, vodka, gin & tonics, beer, sodas and mineral water). Guests enjoy local and international cuisine which is served in the mess tent or under the shade of an acacia tree. In the evenings the guests can sit around the campfire and share stories. The well-stocked bar serves a variety of drinks like mineral water, soft drinks, local beer, house wine and gin and tonics.
