Salas Camp Masai Mara is a luxury tented safari accommodation located on the banks of the Sand River Which traverses the southern tip of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The camp is located close to Tanzania with wonderful views of the Serengeti National park, it is one of the first camps in the Mara to witness the legendary annual migration which thunders from June to September each year. The camp can be accessed by road or by air. The distance from Nairobi is 250km taking 5-6 hours by road and flying from Wilson airport takes 45min. Scheduled flights land at Keekorok Airstrip which is 35min game drive to the camp.
The camp offers spacious tents that combine tradition with comfort and it’s a model of understated, intimate luxury. The camp offers space, comfort, and great views as well as an amazing safari experience. The camps accommodate 18 guests in 7 luxury tents including a specious honeymoon tent which can accommodate a family of 4. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with hot showers, baths, running water, and flushing toilets. All tents either have double or twin beds and can easily accommodate an extra bed.
Salas camp offers a variety of amenities and facilities which give guests the best African safari experience. There is a central dining area combining local and international cuisines, A bar area overlooking the wilderness with fully stocked alcoholic, non-alcoholic and a selection of wines.
