Samburu Sopa Lodge is a family friendly safari accommodation built atop high ground allowing panoramic views of the vast Samburu. The lodge is located inside the Samburu National Reserve in Northern Kenya 350km away from Nairobi by road taking 6 hours while flying takes 50min from Wilson Airport to Samburu Oryx airstrip followed with a 10min transfer to the lodge.
The lodge has 30 individual guest cottages each comprising 2 rooms and there are 2 inter connecting wheelchair-accessible rooms, forming buffalo horn patterns converging at the public facilities area, leaving the open end to the free movement of wildlife to access the waterhole. Samburu Sopa is built to reflect the architectural heritage of the local community. Each cottage is well-spaced & airy, tastefully furnished with two queen size beds, large dressing table, Lavish appointed bathrooms, and an open-air veranda which overlooks the waterhole.
