Sarova Mara Game Lodge is a tented safari accommodation situated in the Masai Mara National Reserve. The camp offers a once in a life time Kenya safari experience as it is strategically positioned in the path of the wildebeest migration (July - October) offering dramatic scenery from the camp.

How to get to Sarova Mara Game Lodge

The camp is accessible by both road and air. From Nairobi to Masai Mara it is estimated to be a distance of 250km, taking 5-6 hours by road with 4x4 safari vehicles like; Landcruiser, Tour Van and Safari Jeep been highly reccommended for traversing the different Masai Mara terrains. Fly from Nairobi, Wilson Airport with a scheduled flight taking around 45-60 minutes and from Mombasa, Moi International Airport for almost 2hrs, landing at Kekorok Airstrip which is a 20-minute game drive away to camp.

Accommodation offered at Sarova Mara

Highlighted with 20 club tents, 32 family tents, and 50 standard tents all with light beige canvas construction, large zippered mesh windows, protective roofs, glass doors and natural wood floors. All tents are built with spectacular views of the surrounding, large wooden decks with a comfortable day bed, chairs & tables.

• The club tents are luxurious and extremely spacious, fitted with glass panel doors and a deck outside for game viewing and private dining.
• The family tents which are “two in one” tents share a common lounge area.
• The standard rooms are tastefully furnished with either double or twin beds and room facilities.

Sarova Mara Drinks and Culinary experience

Meals at Mara Sarova are offered in full board basis and served in “al fresco” at the camps Isokon Restaurant that overlooks the main pool. However, there are numerous outdoor venues for dining like the boma dining and bush dining. There is the Oloip bar, well stocked with imported wines, a wide range of premium spirits and other beverages which can also be enjoyed at the Olchani club lounge.

Extra facilities and amenities

Ideal conference venues are available, fully equipped with a capacity of 80 guests. Tulia wellness tent offer a wide range of body treatments including Swedish, Aromatherapy, and Ayurveda. Relax and unwind in the camps swimming pool, visit the Adai gift shop where handmade crafts/ souvenirs/ traditional attires are sold.
