Soroi Larsen Camp is a small luxury permanent accommodation facility nestled in the lush lawns on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro, a river in Kenya’s famous Samburu National reserve. The camp is positioned in a rugged landscape with a backdrop of jagged mountains. The camp is 350km from Nairobi and driving time is estimated to be 5hours, scheduled flight from Nairobi to Samburu Game reserve takes about 1.5 hours followed by a few minutes of transfer to the camp.
There are 16 standing luxurious tented accommodations sited along the west bank of the Uaso Nyiro river. The accommodations include 12 luxury tents, 2family units and 2 deluxe luxury tented suites offering unprecedented comfort and exclusivity wrapped with authentic African ambiance. Each tent is fully furnished and fitted with 1 King size bed, 2 twin beds, a private balcony, 24-hour electricity, en suite bathrooms stocked with arrange of Molten brown toiletries.
The camp consists of a dinning area that serves guests international and local cuisines while watching Elephants wade in the river and giraffes meandering along the opposite river bank. The camp has a specious pool where guests soak up the sun on the comfortable lounge chairs or unwind with a soak in the jacuzzi.
Samburu national park is an arid region well known for its spectacular scenery and wildlife. The reserve is home to Elephants, reticulated giraffe, Grevy zebra, antelopes, Cheetahs, leopards, eland, Oryx, impala, dik dik, waterbuck, and birds... all cavorting on the red and green earth beneath the lapis sky.
