The Jahazi Suite At Mara Plains is a private, intimate, two-bedroom exquisite tented suite built entirely under canvas. It is located in a private 13,000-hectar Olare Motorogi Conservancy, Just on the Maasai Mara National Reserve’s northern boundary. The camp is nestled in a lush forest on the meandering Ntiakitiak River, with careful thought given to every detail, blending seamlessly into the landscapes, incorporating sweeping views across the plains. The camp is accessible by road which takes 5-6 hours drive from Nairobi. It can also be accessed by air, followed by a short transfer which takes about 45min flight from Nairobi Wilson Airport.
The property has two bedrooms on either side of the living/ dining area, each with ensuite bathrooms with freestanding tubs, indoor & outdoor showers. The tents can get to accommodate up to 4 adults sharing or a maximum of 5 For families with children (6 years or older). The tents are on raised, recycled railway sleeper decking offering guests’ incredible views of the steady stream of wildlife parading past the tree canopy.
The camp has an (easy walk away), guests can visit the bush boutique for retail therapy. The camp has a dinning are and meals are served at guests’ preferable time. There is also a swimming pool where guests can unwind and relax during the day or after a long safari game drive. Each tent offers a professional camera and a range of binoculars available for guests to use on a complimentary basis.
