Tortilis Camp Amboseli Is a luxurious tented camp located in Kitiria wildlife conservancy, on the southern edge of the Amboseli national park. The camp boasts stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, which is the highest peak in Africa together with its committed to sustainable tourism and wildlife conservation. Nairobi is about 250 km approximately 4 hours drive and about 45 minutes by air just outside the Amboseli national park in Kenya.
The camp has 17 tents and a private house. The tents compromise 9 double tents, 8 twin tents, and a family tent. Each makuti-covered tent consists of a main bedroom with twin or double beds, en-suite bathroom and a spacious verandah. The private house consists of one en-suite double bedroom, one en-suite twin bedroom and a spacious sitting\dining room with a verandah. All bedrooms can fit one extra bed for children under the age of 16 years only.
There is a swimming pool shared within the private house & the family tent, a spacious dining room overlooking Mt Kilimanjaro, where the guests enjoy their meals at their own individual tables. The well stocked bar serves a variety of alcoholic and soft drinks. Guests can relax and unwind in the lounge where canapes biting is served before dinner. There is a swimming pool where guests can relax in the hot afternoons. The camp offers massage services for mind and body rejuvenation while in the wild. There are also manicures and pedicures. The camp provides ideal venues for weddings, blessings by the chief of the local tribal community and renewal of vows for guests.
