Zebra Plains Amboseli

Zebra Plains Amboseli is a luxury tented camp that sits below the world’s highest free-standing Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa also found in Amboseli national park. Amboseli National park is home to the largest herds of free roaming elephants that carry the largest Tusks in Africa, the park is also home to the Big Five, cheetahs, Giraffes, Hippos, Zebras, Antelopes, different bird species and sightseeing’s. The camp can be accessed by road from Nairobi which is approximately 230km taking 3-4 hours.

The camp has 12 luxurious tented rooms. The tastefully elegant tents are fully furnished with modern furnishes. The tents feature comfy double/tin split beds with mosquito nets, indoor and outdoor lounge, an indoor and outdoor shower with both hot and cold running showers, flashing toilets, wash basin, a reading table. Each and every room has outstanding views to the peaks of Mt. Kilimanjaro and to the wooded plains of Amboseli National park.

Zebra Plains camp Amboseli caters for local and international cuisines with vegetarians, non-vegetarian, halal, gluten free and other guest requests. Kids menu is also available. The camp has a comfy lounge connected to a well-stocked bar with both indoor and outdoor sitting area facing a small water hole that gets frequent visits by Elephants, zebras, giraffes and other resident games.
