Zebra Plains Mara Camp is a luxury-tented safari camp located very close to the border with the Maasai Mara National Reserve below the Oldonyo Loip Ridge facing the open plains of the Reserve. The ridge, home to some of the big cats, is one of the most important wildlife habitats and migration corridors. The camp is exactly 10km from Talek gate, 25minutes drive from Olkombo airstrip, and about 4.5 hours drive from Nairobi which is 270km and 1hour flight from Wilson Airport.
Accommodation consists of luxury tented rooms and family villas which have been tastefully decorated and furnished with double beds and mosquito nets. The tents have en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets, washbasins, and hot showers. Each tent has its own veranda where guests can sit back and watch the bush enjoying the amazing views. The rooms can be converted into double, single, or triples depending on the guest’s requests.
The camp offers five comfy and relaxing lounges of which one is a bar lounge that is connected to our well stocked bar. There is a well-stocked bar with a good selection of wines, spirits, whisky, gin, local beers and soft drinks. There is two-day beds (double and Twin) and three sun beds with umbrella shades for relaxing while enjoying drinks, a book or private lovely time. The camp caters both local and international cuisines with vegetarian, non-vegetarian, Halal, Gulten free and other guests’ requests. Guests can get a spa treatment after a long day of flying, driving or game safari for relaxation and rejuvenation.
