Detailed 4 Days 3 Nights 2025 Kenyan Coast Itinerary
Day 1; Arrival And Beach Relaxation
Morning; Arrive at the Nairobi SGR Train station (Syokimau) in time “1 Hour early” for security check and train ticket printing (Flight Option Available on Request). Board the SGR train, starting your scenic journey of rolling plains and hills of the country side and wildlife spectacle (Not Guaranteed) of Tsavo National Park.
Afternoon; Arrival at the Mombasa SGR terminus (Miritini) where you'll be met by our representative driver, who will transfer you to your beachfront hotel/ resort chosen in either Mombasa/ Diani or Malindi. Arrive at your accommodation and check in. After settling in, enjoy a leisurely afternoon by the shores of the Indian Ocean. Soak in the warm, tranquil waters perfect for a refreshing swim, or simply relax on the sandy shore under the shade of palm trees.
Evening; As the day winds down, enjoy the beautiful coastal sunset. Many beachfront resorts offer excellent views of the sunset, making it a perfect moment for relaxation. Head to the hotel’s restaurant or beach bar for a delicious dinner, with options of fresh seafood to traditional Swahili dishes. After dinner, you can take a stroll along the beach or unwind at the hotel.
Day 2 - 3; Full Day Kenya Coastal Adventures & Cultural Exploration
Morning; Start the day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel overlooking the Indian Ocean. After breakfast, (Not Included). head out for a boat tour of Mombasa Marine Park or explore the coral reefs off the coast of Diani Depending on your location, you can enjoy snorkeling, a glass-bottom boat ride, or even a diving session to discover the vibrant underwater world teeming with marine life, including sea turtles, colorful fish, and rays. (Extra Activities on Request)
Afternoon; Enjoy a beachside seafood lunch, savoring freshly caught fish, lobsters, and prawns at a seaside restaurant or on the boat. After lunch, take a cultural excursion (Not Included) to Fort Jesus, a historic Portuguese fort that dates back to 1593. Learn about Mombasa’s rich history through the museum's exhibits, including artifacts from the Swahili Coast, ancient weaponry, and stories of colonial times. Continue exploring the charm of Mombasa’s Old Town, a maze of narrow streets and historic buildings. Visit local markets, artisan shops, and street food vendors to experience the culture of the coastal city.
Evening; Head back to the hotel for a traditional Swahili dinner. Enjoy local dishes such as biryani, chapati, or ugali while being entertained by a performance of coastal music and dance. This cultural evening will provide a deeper understanding of the region's heritage.
Day 3; Depature for Nairobi
After breakfast, if time allows get to visit the local markets for souvenirs. Purchase unique coastal items such as handwoven baskets, carved wooden animals, or colorful Maasai Shukas. Return to your hotel, enjoy a relaxed lunch. After lunch, check out followed by pick up and transfer to the Mombasa SGR Train station (Miritini) for your return journey to Nairobi, bringing an end to your memorable coastal getaway.
