If you’re looking to experience Kenya’s two most iconic landscapes without the long hours on the road, this 5-day fly-in safari is the perfect solution. By hopping between parks on light aircraft, you trade dusty highways for bird’s-eye views of the Savannah, moving seamlessly from the giant elephants of Amboseli to the big cats of the Maasai Mara. This is all about maximizing your time on game drives and minimizing travel fatigue. Your journey starts with a flight from Nairobi into the heart of Amboseli National Park. This park is world-famous for two things: its massive "tuskers" and the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. There’s nothing quite like watching a herd of elephants cross the plains while the snow-capped peak towers above them. After a few days of soaking in these views, you’ll head back to the airstrip to fly across to the Maasai Mara. Depending on the day's flight schedules, you’ll either fly directly or have a quick connection through Nairobi, but either way, you’ll be in the Mara in time for an evening game drive. The Maasai Mara is where the action happens. It’s home to the Big Five and the legendary Great Migration, offering some of the best wildlife sightings on the planet. Because this is a flight-based package, you’ll arrive at your lodge refreshed and ready to head out into the wild.

A quick tip for your flights: Since we use light aircraft to get you into the bush, please remember to pack your gear in soft-sided bags. These planes have a strict 15kg (33lbs) weight limit per person, including your hand luggage, as the cargo pods are compact. If you have extra luggage you don't need for the safari, we can easily help you arrange storage in Nairobi. It’s a fast-paced, high-comfort way to see the very best of Kenya’s wild side.
