3-Day Lamu Beach Holiday – Flight Package

Overview

This 3-days Lamu Beach Holiday is ideal for travelers seeking a relaxing coastal getaway while avoiding the long road transfer from Nairobi. We offer a flight package with a 1.5-hour flight from Nairobi Wilson Airport to Manda Airport, Lamu. 

Upon arrival at Manda Airport, a boat transfer takes you to Peponi Hotel on Shela Island, where you will check in at your hotel. Passenger baggage is limited to 15 kilograms per person, inclusive of hand baggage. This package offers leisure time on the beach, hotel pool access, and optional activities, including dhow boat rides, cultural visits to Lamu Old Town, village walks, and Swahili cooking classes.

Fly back to Nairobi after spending 2 nights / 3 days in Lamu.

Prices vary depending on the month or season, with December to February being high season, while May to June is low season.

2 nights at Peponi Hotel, Shela

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi → Manda Airport → Peponi Hotel
Board your flight from Nairobi Wilson Airport to Manda Airport. Please report 1 hour before departure, and note that baggage is limited to 15 kg per passenger, inclusive of hand baggage. On arrival at Manda Airport, enjoy a scenic boat transfer to Peponi Hotel on Shela Island. Check in at Peponi Hotel, have lunch (if arriving in the morning), and spend the afternoon relaxing on Peponi Beach, exploring Shela Village, or enjoying the hotel pool. In the late afternoon, take an optional boat ride or beach walk to enjoy the sunset, followed by dinner and overnight stay at Peponi Hotel.

Day 2: Full Day in Lamu & Shela
After breakfast at Peponi Hotel, spend the day exploring Shela Village and its beaches, or simply relax at Peponi Beach and the hotel pool. Optional activities include a dhow boat cruise around the Lamu Archipelago, cultural visits to Lamu Old Town, Swahili cooking classes, or village walks (available at an additional cost—please enquire). In the late afternoon, enjoy a sunset boat ride or beach walk, then return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Peponi Hotel.

Day 3: Departure from Lamu
After breakfast at Peponi Hotel, check out and take the boat transfer back to Manda Airport. Board your flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport, concluding your 3-day Lamu Beach Holiday
