Your stay at Sweetwaters Serena Camp combines luxury and nature, with elegant tented accommodation set in a tranquil environment where wildlife can often be spotted directly from the camp.
During the safari, you will enjoy thrilling game drives across the conservancy’s diverse landscapes, encounter elephants, lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and many other species, and visit the unique chimpanzee sanctuary dedicated to rescued chimpanzees. The experience also includes scenic drives through Kenya’s central highlands and opportunities to learn about conservation initiatives that make Ol Pejeta one of Africa’s leading wildlife conservancies.

The journey, step by step.
Day
1
Transfer; Nairobi-Olpejeta & Afternoon Gamedrive
Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi aboard a private 4WD safari Land Cruiser. Drive through the lush central highlands with scenic views of tea and coffee plantations as you head towards Laikipia County.
You will make a brief stop at the Equator crossing point for photography before proceeding to Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
Arrive at Sweetwaters Serena Camp in time for lunch and check-in. The camp is uniquely designed with luxury tents overlooking a busy waterhole, offering wildlife sightings directly from the camp.
After some relaxation, proceed for an afternoon game drive within the conservancy. Ol Pejeta is home to the Big Five and is especially famous for its rhino conservation program, including the last remaining northern white rhinos.
Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Full Day Gamedrives
After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
Morning activities include extensive game drives across the conservancy, where you may spot; Lions, Elephants, Rhinos, Buffaloes, Cheetahs, Giraffes, Zebras and numerous antelope species
You will also visit the famous chimpanzee sanctuary, the only sanctuary in Kenya dedicated to rescued chimpanzees.
Enjoy lunch at the camp followed by some relaxation before continuing with an afternoon game drive.
The conservancy’s combination of open plains, riverine vegetation, and wildlife-rich habitats makes every game drive unique and rewarding.
Return to Sweetwaters Serena Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Morning game drive & Departure
Start your day with an early morning game drive, the best time to witness predators and other wildlife at their most active.
Return to camp for breakfast and check-out.
Later, depart from Ol Pejeta Conservancy and begin your journey back to Nairobi.
Arrive in the afternoon with drop-off at your hotel, residence, or airport.
