Get ready for the ultimate African adventure—a 15-day journey that immerses you in the wild heart of Tanzania and Kenya before wrapping you in the coastal charm of Diani Beach. From the dramatic crater views of Ngorongoro to the sweeping plains of Serengeti and the predator-rich grasslands of Maasai Mara, every day of this trip is packed with nature’s drama and beauty. You’ll travel across scenic roads, cross borders, meet local communities, and encounter Africa’s Big Five in their natural habitat. And just when you think it couldn’t get any better, you’ll trade your safari boots for flip-flops and relax on the white sands of Diani with the Indian Ocean at your feet.
Day 1: Arusha to Ngorongoro – Into the World’s Largest Intact Caldera
After breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha, After short briefings of your safari, you will depart Arusha around 6:00 AM in a 4WD Safari Landcruiser and drive approximately 3 hours (167 km) through the lush landscapes of the Great Rift Valley to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy sweeping views and pass through the small market town of Mto wa Mbu.
You’ll arrive at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater by noon. After lunch, descend 600 meters into this World Heritage Site for an afternoon crater game drive. This area offers one of the best chances to spot all Big Five in a single day—lions, elephants, buffalos, rhinos, and leopards—plus flamingos, hyenas, hippos, and more.

Day 2: Ngorongoro to Serengeti – From Volcanic Highlands to Endless Plains
Leave after breakfast and begin your drive into the legendary Serengeti National Park, a journey of about 4–5 hours (145 km) across the Ngorongoro highlands. This isn’t just a transfer—it’s a game drive in itself. You’ll pass Maasai villages and spot wildlife long before you enter Serengeti proper.
Once inside, begin your afternoon game drive en route to your central Serengeti lodge. The Serengeti’s vast grasslands stretch endlessly, hosting millions of wildebeest, zebras, and predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Day 3 & 4: Full Days in Serengeti – Wildlife Theater at Its Best
Spend two full days exploring the iconic Serengeti. Early morning and evening game drives offer the best chances to spot action—perhaps a lion pride hunting or a leopard lounging in a tree. Depending on the season (July–October), you might witness the Great Migration, one of the most awe-inspiring wildlife spectacles on Earth.
Enjoy your meals in a luxury lodge, surrounded by the sounds of the savannah—roaring lions, laughing hyenas, and birdsong at dawn.

Day 5: Serengeti to Maasai Mara (via Isebania) – Border Crossing & New Adventures
Today is a big travel day. After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti for the Isebania border crossing into Kenya. This cross-border route is wild and scenic. The total journey from Serengeti to Maasai Mara is about 7–8 hours, including border formalities and a vehicle swap from your Tanzanian guide to a Kenyan safari expert.
Once inside Maasai Mara, you'll enjoy a short evening game drive en route to your lodge. The Mara shares the same ecosystem as the Serengeti, but offers its own rich game density and unique landscapes.

Day 6 & 7: Maasai Mara – Kenya’s Safari Crown Jewel
Over the next two days, immerse yourself in the incredible biodiversity of the Mara. You’ll have morning and evening game drives through vast plains dotted with acacia trees and teeming with wildlife.
Spot elephants, giraffes, hyenas, cheetahs, and large lion prides. The Mara River attracts crocodiles and hippos, and during the migration, dramatic river crossings may occur. You’ll also have the option to visit a local Maasai village or book a sunrise hot-air balloon safari.

Day 8: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru – Flamingos, Rhinos & Scenic Lakes
Depart Maasai Mara after breakfast and drive through the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. you can opt to visit the maasai village at Sekenani gate, and interact with the masai people learning their culture. you can buy souvenirs and beaded maasai artefacts. proceed for about 5 hours (250 km) away. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge.
In the afternoon, go on a game drive around the soda lake, famous for its pink flamingos and endangered white rhinos. You’ll also find Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, waterbucks, and possibly leopards.

Day 9: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli – Kilimanjaro Views & Elephant Herds
After an early breakfast, begin your journey to Amboseli National Park, driving via Nairobi. The total distance is approximately 330 km, taking around 6–7 hours depending on traffic.
Arrive at your lodge with views of Mount Kilimanjaro—Africa’s tallest mountain and a stunning backdrop for elephants and plains game. Enjoy an evening game drive before settling in for the night.

Day 10: Full Day in Amboseli – Africa’s Elephant Capital
Spend your day on morning and evening game drives exploring Amboseli’s open plains and swampy areas. This park is known for its huge elephant herds, often seen up close, and sweeping views of snow-capped Kilimanjaro.
Climb Observation Hill for a panoramic look at the park, and watch hippos and buffalos grazing around the wetlands.

Day 11: Amboseli to Diani Beach – From Safari to Sand
After breakfast, your journey shifts from savannah to sea. You’ll be transferred to Nairobi for a short domestic flight to Ukunda Airport, followed by a brief road transfer to your beach resort in Diani.
Total travel time is approximately 4–5 hours, depending on your flight schedule. Arrive in Diani and check in to your beachfront resort—where your only task is to relax and soak in the ocean breeze.

Days 12 & 14: Diani Beach – Rest, Rejuvenate, and Explore the Coast
You’ve earned it—three full days to unwind in paradise. Diani is consistently ranked among Africa’s best beaches for its white sand, turquoise waters, and swaying palm trees.
Take a dip in the warm Indian Ocean, go snorkeling or diving at Kisite Marine Park, sail on a traditional dhow, or simply lounge by the pool. Optional excursions include Wasini Island, dolphin watching, and Swahili seafood experiences.

Day 15: Departure – Diani to Nairobi or International Flight
Depending on your onward plans, you’ll be transferred to Ukunda Airstrip for your domestic flight back to Nairobi (or directly to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, JKIA). From here, connect with your international flight or continue your journey elsewhere.
