Cross into Tanzania for epic safaris in Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater—home to the Big Five and some of Africa’s richest biodiversity. 15 Days Kenya Safari Day-by-Day Detailed Wise Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi Hotel Pick-Up – Drive to Amboseli National Park

At 6:00 AM, your safari begins! You’ll be picked up from your Nairobi hotel by your professional guide and depart for Amboseli National Park in a 4Wd Safari Land cruiser, a 5–6 hour drive. En route, pass bustling towns and Maasai homesteads. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge and enjoy your first game drive with Kilimanjaro’s snowy peak looming in the distance.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Amboseli

Enjoy a full day of game viewing in Amboseli. The park is famous for its massive elephant herds, dramatic landscapes, and stunning backdrops of Africa’s highest mountain. Early morning and late afternoon game drives allow for optimal sightings.

Day 3: Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park via Nairobi

After breakfast, drive toward the Great Rift Valley, with brief stops at scenic viewpoints. Arrive at your lodge near Lake Nakuru in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive around the lake’s alkaline shores, home to flamingos, white and black rhinos, buffaloes, and elusive leopards.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara

Depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara approximately 240 kilometers, about 5 to 6 hours drive via the scenic Loita plains. Arrive at your lodge in time for a short sunset game drive. The Mara is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers alike.

Day 5–6: Full Safari Days in Maasai Mara

For the two full days you will be exploring Kenya’s most iconic reserve. You will have bothe morning and afternoon gamedrives giving you the best moments to witness lion prides, cheetahs stalking prey, elephants crossing the plains, and (seasonally) the awe-inspiring Great Migration.

Day 7: Cross into Tanzania – Serengeti National Park (via Isebania)

After an early breakfast, drive to the Isebania border (approximately 290 kilometers about a 4 hours drive) and cross into Tanzania (passport/visa required). After the boarder formalities, Switch to a Tanzanian vehicle and guide. Continue with a game drive en route to Central Serengeti, your new safari playground. Arrive at the lodge at evening hours, relax at the lodge as you await an amazing dinner.

Day 8: Full-Day Safari in Serengeti

You will spend this day having a full day gamedrive to explore the legendary Serengeti plains—endless savannahs dotted with acacia trees, roaming lions, and massive herds of wildebeests and zebras. The Seronera Valley is excellent for predator sightings.

Day 9: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim

Wake up early for a Morning game drive, the best moment to witness the wild in action, predators hunting down their preys and the wildlife busy grazing on the vast landscapes of Serengeti. Return to your lodge for a hearty breakfast and check out. you will also spot wildlife as you exit the park, then journey 4–5 hours to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your crater-rim lodge with jaw-dropping views over the world’s largest unbroken caldera. You will arrive at the perfect time for lunch, after lunch you can opt to relax at the lodge or head out for a short afternoon game drive at Ngorongoro conservation area.

Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater Safari + Flight to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, Descend 600 metres into the crater early for a half-day safari. Spot lions, rhinos, hippos, jackals, and flamingos in this lush Garden of Eden. After lunch, transfer to a Lake Manyara airstrip for your direct flight to Zanzibar (2 hrs). Upon arrival at the aiport you'll be transferred to your beach resort. After lunch you can opt to relax at your lodge or take a walk to the beach and enjoying the cool breeze and the beautiful sandy beach.

Days 11–14: Relaxation in Zanzibar

You have four full days to unwind. Chill at your resort or explore the island’s treasures—visit a spice farm, snorkel in the marine park, wander historic Stone Town, or enjoy a sunset dhow cruise on the Indian Ocean.

Day 15: Departure from Zanzibar
