Overview;
Our Kenya’s 10-day safari includes visiting several well-known national parks and reserves around the country which include; Amboseli National Park, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Samburu National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Bogoria and Lake Naivasha and finally Masai Mara. Each destination offers unique opportunities to see a variety of African Wildlife such as “The Big five”, birdlife, scenic landscape formations, people & cultures and also atraction sites. Activities offered at various destination include; cultural experience, balloon safari, horse barcking safari, nature walks and many more. This safari offers unforgettable adventure that offers a chance to experience the natural beauty and wildlife of East Africa.
Detailed Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1; Nairobi – Amboseli
Pick up at the Airport or Nairobi hotel or place of agreement. Short briefing from our experienced safari driver about your 10-day safari and how the day is expected to be. Embark on a journey full of sceneries heading to Amboseli renowned for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Arrive at your lodge/camp just in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon have a game viewing safari in the popular wildlife sanctuaries also known as “Home of large Elephant herds” till sunset. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2; Amboseli National Park
Early morning game drive chasing the views of Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow cap and wild animals which are mostly active in the morning. Return at the lodge for breakfast then later on leave the lodge with packed lunch for a full day safari experience in Amboseli. During the safari track down wildlife from the Big Five and Jumbo African Elephants you can also choose to have a ‘Maasai Cultural visit’. After a long day of Safari, return back at you camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3; Amboseli - Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Have optional early morning activity “Hot air balloon safari”. After breakfast get to check out and have an en route game drive heading to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a private conservancy known for its commitment to wildlife conservation. Arrive in time for lunch, get to check in at the lodge. Rejuvenate yourself and relax getting to utilize the lodge or camps facilities. Afternoon game drive is scheduled for you to explore the conservancy. Get the chance to spot the big five, visit the chimpanzee sanctuary, get to see rhinos ‘Black and White rhino’, explore the diverse landscape and also have various activities at the conservancy such as Horse backing safari, Guided safari walks or have a night game drive. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.
Day 4; Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Get to spend the full day in Ol Pejeta, full of landscape and beautiful pristine. Track down the wildlife at the conservancy such as Zebras, Black Rhinos, Elephants, Buffaloes, hyenas, lions, chimpanzees. Ol pejeta offers a scenery of lush grassland, acacia drepanolobium and scattered thickets. And last but not least, birds of over 500species. In the evening have site/sanctuary visits then return to the lode for dinner and overnight.
Day 5; Ol Pejeta - Lake Nakuru
After breakfast leave Ol Pejeta heading to Lake Nakuru home to a high number of bird species including the white and pink flamingos. Arrive for check in and Lunch to be served at your lodge/camp. Afternoon game viewing, returning back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6; Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
Early morning game drive then return to your lodge for full breakfast then check out. Drive down the great rift valley into Lake Naivasha arriving at the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon get to do a boat ride on the lake seeing hippos and fish eagles at extra cost. Also visiting the Crescent island is on an extra charge. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.
Day 7; Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara NR
Early breakfast then gets to check out, driving through the savannah grassland of Masai Mara national reserve. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, relax a bit and start your adventure. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 8-9; Masai Mara NR
Two days have been preserved for you to have full day safari in Masai Mara. Explore the reserve fully, spot the big five, visit different attractive sights of Kenya, have bush meals/ picnics from packed lunch, participate in different activities such as Ballooning, Horse backing, nature walks and cultural visits. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.
Day 10; Masai Mara – Nairobi
After an early morning game drive, return at your lodge/camp for breakfast then check out to drive back to Nairobi arriving in midafternoon. Drop off at your hotel or agreed destination.
