OVERVIEW
Amboseli is renowned for its Elephants as well as the stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world. This amazing park has large concentration of Buffalo, Elephants, Cheetah, Zebra and Giraffe among others. Amboseli has an endless under ground water supply filtered through thousands of feet of volcanic rock from Kilimanjaro’s ice cap, which funnel into two clear water springs in the heart of the park. However, the climate pendulum can swing from drought to flood and in the early 990’s ceaseless rain changed Amboseli into a swamp. A few years later the rains failed and the grass-covered plains turned to dust.

ITINERARY
DAY1: NAIROBI- AMBOSELI
Pick up from your hotel and drive south to Amboseli, arrive time for lunch. After lunch proceed to the park for afternoon game drive, sport large herds of Elephants and plentiful plains game against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
DAY2: AMBOSELI
Early morning game drive return to the camp/ lodge for breakfast, thereafter proceed to the park for another game drive. The plains offer numerous jackals, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, vervet monkeys, antelopes and the chance of spotting leopard or cheetah. Observation hill, conical peak which is easy to climb offers great views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Later return to the lodge in time for lunch. After lunch you can take another game drive or guided nature walk. You may also have optional visit to authentic Maasai village.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ camp.
DAY3: AMBOSELI- NAIROBI
Take an early pre-breakfast game drive, after breakfast drive back to Nairobi arrive late in the afternoon.
