Situated along the Ewaso Nyiro River, there is plenty to attract wildlife from the surrounding Savannah Plains. Samburu is home to some of the rarest wild species also known as the special Five: the Grevy’s Zebras, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the beisa Oryx
Morning and afternoon Game drives with the view of 900 Elephants, Large predators such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah, Wild dog sightings and numerous bird life.
Kamunyak the Miracle lioness that adapted the baby Oryx was a resident in the reserve.

ITINERARY
DAY 1: NAIROBI /SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
Depart Nairobi at 07:00 hrs and drive south along the Central Kenya Highlands. Arriving in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon swimming and relaxing then evening game drive at 4p.m. Return to the lodge and freshen up for dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge. Meals: lunch and dinner.
DAY 2: SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
After breakfast 8.00am leave for a full morning game drive. Animals commonly seen are elephants, lions, cheetahs, Gravy’s zebras, reticulated giraffes, Gerenuks, buffaloes, Onyx, gazelles, Dik-dik and water bucks.
Return to the lodge for lunch followed by swimming games and relaxation. At 4p.m we leave for an evening game drive till sunset then return to the lodge to freshen up for dinner and overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast lunch and dinner.
DAY 3: SAMBURU / NAIROBI
At 6.30 am Start with an early morning game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Swimming or relaxation then check out at 10.am and start journey back to Nairobi. Lunch stop over at Nanyuki.Meal: Breakfast
