This 3-day road safari takes you north into the rugged beauty of Samburu, where the landscape changes from lush highlands to golden, arid plains. The drive from Nairobi is a great way to see the countryside, eventually leading you to the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, the lifeblood of this unique ecosystem.
You’ll spend your days tracking the "Samburu Special Five"—rare species like the reticulated giraffe and Grevy’s zebra—that you won’t find in other parts of Kenya. Between game drives, you can visit a local Samburu village to experience their vibrant culture firsthand. Nairobi to Samburu Game Reserve
You will be picked in Nairobi by your driver guide at your hotel, Residence or at the Airport. After a brief safari briefing,depart Nairobi by road to the Kenyan Northern frontier district. Arrive and check in, in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing in the reserve which is famous for its truily wild semi-arid landscape together with Shaba and Buffalo springs. Explore the reserve by tracking wildlife and the birdlife together with the backdrop landscapes. Return to the lodge while the sun sets, Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Samburu National park
Spend full day in the Samburu Game Reserve searching for the big five, the Samburu five, and observing the vast unspoiled scenery during morning and afternoon game drives. During the day you might opt to have additional activities such as having bush meals, nature walks or opt to visit the Samburu people who have a diverse and unique culture. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Samburu to Nairobi
Early morning breakfast and there after drive back to Nairobi en-rout short game drive. Arrive in time for lunch in Nairobi, drop off at your hotel, residence or Airport.
