8 DAYS WILDEBEEST MIGRATION SAFARI
Overview
This Safari offers an exciting opportunity to witness the worlds breathtaking wildlife spectacles of the Magical Kenya. The safari gets visitors through vast plains of Masai Mara where they witness over 1.5 million wildebeest, along with zebras, gazelles migrate crossing the Mara river from Serengeti National Park. You will also be able to explore some of Kenya’s world safari giving you the taste of Wildlife, Culture, Scenery’s, History and Adventure.
Itinerary
Day 1; Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Depart from Nairobi having a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival at your lodge, check in, have lunch and also get to relax. Later have an afternoon game drive getting to view the most famous scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to your lodge/camp for dinner and Overnight.
Day 2; Amboseli National park (Full Day)
Early Morning game drive getting to see good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, also get to see elephants feed and bath in the swamps being the highlight of the Safari. Return to the camp for breakfast. There is an optional Masai Village visit that reveals cultural dancing and singing as part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. You can also opt to take a guided nature walk around the camp rounds or relax and soak in the views. Another game drive in the afternoon exploring different sightings and tracking wildlife such as Lions, Cheetahs, giraffes and a variety of bird species. As the sun sets, return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3; Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast drive to Lake Nakuru, having a stop over at view point and a road trip along the rift valley. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, check in and relax at the lodge. Afternoon game drive is scheduled for you to explore the world-famous park for its flamingos. The alkaline lake is known for being one of the Natural Wonders of the World. The park is also a rhino sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.
Day 4; Lake Nakuru NP – Lake Naivasha/ Hells Gate
Early Morning game drive visiting the parks sightseeing and wildlife tracking. Return to your lodge for breakfast, check out. Leave for Lake Naivasha, upon arrival have lunch and later on et to have a boat ride in the fresh lake that is home to hippos, crocodiles. Enjoy your stay in Lake Naivasha also getting to visit Hells ate national park where animals and animals roam freely, have a nature walk at the camp or a bike riding safari. Later on, return having dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 5; Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast leave for Masai Mara, Arrive and check in at your lodge/camp and have lunch. Relax at your lodge, afternoon game drive is scheduled. Get to see the scenic Masai Mara with the already arrived Wildebeest, Zebra and antelope grazing on the greener Masai Mara. Have an amazing sunset game drive heading back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 6-7; Masai Mara
Early morning game drive, returning to the camp for breakfast. During mid-day leave with packed lunch visiting the most famous Wildebeest migration points at Mara River. Get to experience the thrill of thousand Zebras and wildebeest crossing the crocodile infested river. Afterwards get to explore the reserve tracking down the big five and other wildlife. During the day you may have meals in the bush set up, have optional Masai village visit, or hot air balloon safari. Dinner and overnights at your camp/lodge.
Day 8; Masai Mara – Nairobi
Start your last day in Masai Mara with a morning game drive saying goodbye to the reserve. Have breakfast at the camp followed by checking out. Get transferred back to Nairobi Drop off at your hotel, Airport or residential area. Till next Safari time.
