Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1; Arrival in Lamu

Start you journey from Nairobi flying to Lamu. Arrive and get transferred from the airport by a traditional dhow or boat to your villa/ resort. Check in, relax and later on go out to enjoy a beach front lunch at a local café sampling Swahili traditional dishes. After lunch embark on a stroll in the maze- like street of Lamu Old Town, a UNESCO World heritage site. As the day winds down enjoy a sunset dhow cruise watching the sun sink below the horizon. Dinner and overnight stay at your villa/ resort.

Day 2; Full Day in Lamu at Leisure

Wake up to a leisurely breakfast, followed by a visit to the beach for sun basking, swimming or strolling along the shoreline. You can as well opt for more adventurous water activities (On Request) like; snorkeling, kite surfing, paddle boarding. Have lunch in a local restaurant then opt to visit the Takwa Ruins on Manda Island offering Lamu’s historical trade routes and cultural heritage. Dinner under the stars and overnight stay at your villa/ resort.

Day 3; Relaxing & Depart Lamu

On your last day enjoy a slow relaxed breakfast at your hotel, taking in the tranquil morning views of the India Ocean. Spend your last hours at leisure depending on you flight schedule. Check out and have a transfer to the Airport to catch your flight back to Nairobi.
